Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 VOLVO XC90. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH THE VEHICLE LOSES ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER AND THE DEALER PERFORMED A SOFTWARE UPGRADE AS WELL AS AN UPGRADE TO THE CENTRAL ELECTRONIC MODULE. NONE OF THE UPGRADES REMEDIED THE ISSUE WITH ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MAY NEED A NEW WIRING HARNESS INSTALLED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
