Consumer Description

WHILE TRAVELING ON THE FREEWAY THE TRANSMISSION JUMPED DOWN TO FIRST GEAR, RESULTING IN MY CAR SUDDENLY DECELERATING TO A SPEED OF 20 MPH. I WAS VERY FORTUNATE TO NOT BE REAR ENDED AND HAVE SINCE HAD TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. I KNOW THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL AND YEAR HONDA, HOWEVER I DID GO THROUGH THE ORIGINAL PROCESS OF THE MANUFACTURER RECALL. I HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON THIS MODEL AND IT SEEMS IT IS A PREVALENT PROBLEM. HONDA WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE. *TR
