Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD CONSUME UP TO THREE QUARTS OF OIL EVERY THREE THOUSAND MILES. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE HAS NOT SUFFERED ANY DAMAGES DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO DIAGNOSE THE OIL PROBLEM WHERE THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE PISTONS AND PISTON RINGS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REPAIR POSSIBLY WOULD NOT REMEDY THE ISSUE OF THE OIL CONSUMPTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
