Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE COIL SPRING WAS FRACTURED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE FOR THE 1998 FORD WINDSTAR BUT WAS ADVISED THAT THE 1999 MODEL WAS NOT INCLUDED (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 01I007000 -SUSPENSION; FRONT; COIL SPRINGS). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
