TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 MERCURY SABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT COIL SPRING FRACTURED AND PUNCTURED THE TIRE. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER:04V332000 (SUSPENSION:FRONT:SPRINGS:COIL SPRINGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 70,000. THE VEHICLE WAS AWAITING REPAIRS. UPDATED 08/31/11*LJ
