Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A CLANKING NOISE IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND STARTED FEELING AS IF IT WAS NOT STABLE. THE CONTACT LOOKED UNDERNEATH THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE REAR AXLE WAS NEARLY SPLIT IN HALF. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ONLY AN INCH AND A HALF OF THE AXLE WAS NOT DAMAGED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 133000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 134231.
