Consumer Description

WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE THE POWER STEERING CUTS OUT. THIS BEGAN HAPPENING PERIODICALLY ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH BUT NOW IS HAPPENING ALL THE TIME. IT IS NOW CUTTING OUT ABOUT EVERY 5 MINUTES OR MORE WHICH MAKES THE CAR VERY DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY WIFE TO DRIVE. WHEN IT INITIALLY HAPPENED I BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD COST ABOUT $500.00 BECAUSE THE ELECTRIC MOTOR OF THE POWER STEERING IS BAD (SHORTING OUT) AND IT IS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. AT THE TIME THE CAR HAD ABOUT 45,000 MILES ON IT. *TR
