Consumer Description

MUD FLAPS ON ALL CORNERS OF THE 2005 TOYOTA TACOMA ARE SUBJECT TO BREAKING WITH NORMAL USE. THIS PRESENTS A HAZARD TO SURROUNDING MOTORISTS WHEN THEY SEPARATE FROM THE TRUCK AND GO FLYING DOWN THE ROAD. TYPICALLY, THEY TEAR PARTIALLY BEFORE SEPARATING ENTIRELY WHICH LEAVES THEM BANGING AGAINST THE TRUCK AND SCRATCHING THE PAINT. WHEN THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR MUD FLAP FALLS APART, IT LAYS ON THE EXHAUST TAILPIPE, CATCHES FIRE, AND MELTS ONTO THE SIDE OF THE TRUCK. TOYOTA CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ARE UNRESPONSIVE. *TR
