Consumer Description

GRAND CHEROKEE SHUT OFF BY ITSELF (LOST POWER STEERING AND BRAKES). CAR STARTED RIGHT BACK UP. THIS HAPPENED ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AROUND A SHARP CURVE AND COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A CAR ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES OR EVEN DEATH. BROUGHT THE CAR TO A DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND SOMETIMES THE INTERNAL COMPUTER NEEDS TO BE REBOOTED. I BOUGHT THE CAR BECAUSE OF ALL THE SAFETY FEATURES. I WILL PROBABLY TRADE THIS CAR IN. IT'S NOT WORTH MY WELL-BEING. *NM
