Defect: Zero Motorcycles Inc. (Zero) is recalling certain model year 2015 SR, S, DS, and FX motorcycles. The affected motorcycles have a DC-DC converter that may have insufficient output power. During high power demand, the anti-lock brake system (ABS) may not function properly.
Consequence: If the converter power output is insufficient, during an ABS activated event, the ABS and all vehicle lights would temporarily stop functioning, increasing the risk of a crash.

I AM A NEW OWNER OF THIS MOTORCYCLE AND IT FALLS OUT THE LIGHT AND AS I NOTICED UNCONTROLLED THE SIGNAL LIGHT, BRAKE BOOSTER, ABS .. . IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE WITH THIS BIKE AND YOU COULD GET A PENALTY IN OUR COUNTRY . THE MOTORCYCLE WAS ONLY USED FOR SHORT DISTANCES. I HAVE THE OPINION THAT NOT EVERY CUSTOMER CAN BE AN EXPERT AND CONSTANTLY CHECK THE NEWLY PURCHASED (6000KM TOTAL MILEAGE) MOTORCYCLE FOR MANUFACTURER ERROR OR EVEN WORSE MAYBE AN ACCIDENT. THE MANUFACTURER REFUSES ANY WARRANTY PROCESSING BY THE REASONS THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN BUILT DURING THIS PERIOD EVEN THOUGH THE SAME FAULT HAS OCCURRED. APPARENTLY THERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH SEVERAL DC / DC CONTROLLERS AND THE INTERNET IS FULL OF VERY DISCUSSE ABOUT THAT.
