FACTORY CRIMP CONNECTOR INSIDE MY YAMAHA DRIVING LAMPS ON MY 2006 YAMAHA STRATOLINER MOTORCYCLE. MELTED CAUSING THE LIGHTS TO FAIL AT NIGHT. I AM NOT THE FIRST TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE CONNECTOR YAMAHA USED HAS MELTED. I HAVE PICTURES OF THE MELTED CONNECTOR TAKEN WHEN I OPENED THE LIGHT HOUSING THINKING IT WAS JUST A BURNT OUT BULB. *JB
THE CRANK POSITION SENSOR ON MY 2006 YAMAHA XV1700 (WARRIOR) BEGAN TO FAIL. THIS CAUSED ERRATIC HESITATION DURING ACCELERATION TO THE POINT OF BECOMING INOPERABLE. HAD IT FAILED COMPLETELY, MY ENGINE WOULD HAVE JUST DIED DURING OPERATION, WHICH COULD HAVE VERY LIKELY RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT. *JB
