TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 WORKHORSE P30 RECREATIONAL VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE RACKING ABILITY SEIZED, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TRAVELED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOORBOARD. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FOLLOWING MORNING EVERYTHING WAS BACK TO NORMAL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000. UPDATED 1/5/16 *CN

AFTER THE BRAKE FLUID WAS REPLACED, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME SPONGE-LIKE WHEN DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN THEN ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE BRAKES AND CALIPERS WOULD HAVE TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED.
