Defect: Piaggio Group Americas. Inc. (Piaggio) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Vespa GTS 300 and GTV 300 scooters. Improperly galvanized brake pipe terminals can result in excessive front and/or rear brake levers travel during braking.
Consequence: Reduced braking efficiency can lengthen the distance needed to stop the scooter, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Piaggio will notify owners, and dealers will test the O-Ring, replace the brake fluid and bleed the brake system, or replace the brake pipes based on the vehicle's age, free of charge. The recall began October 21, 2020. Owners may...

At this moment I have two issues. One being that the seat latch does not work on my scooter. I called the dealer and he said to put a lot of push on top of the seat where the latch assembly is located. I am a big fat slop. 225 lbs. I pushed as hard as I could to lock it and it clicked lock. Trouble is, it won't open now. I have my drivers license, cash, papers and a letter to my GF who is incarcerated at a prison in Maryland. I am not as worried about that as I am about the silent directional signals. They do not self cancel and remain on (silently) if I forget to turn them off manually. This creates a real safety hazard with cars pulling out in front of me. With the money I spent ($8600) to buy this scooter, Vespa should correct these mistakes. Right now, (summer time in NH) I am not going to use it until they come up with a solution. Especially to the directional signal. I need to be able to see it and hear it.
