DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A CRACK IN THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL CAUSED THE TIRE TO LOOSE AIR PRESSURE, RESULTING IN A CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN OVER THREE LANES AND STRUCK A ROAD SIGN, WENT BACK OVER THE THREE LANES AND DOWN INTO A WATERY DITCH AND UP THE OTHER SIDE AND CAME TO A STOP. SEAT BELTS WERE IN USE AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THE CONTACT HAS NO OTHER RECOLLECTION OF THE INCIDENT AND CAN OFFER NO MORE FACTS. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DEALER HAS BEEN ALERTED HOWEVER THE WHEEL HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THERE WAS NO DESIGN DEFECT. UPDATED 06/12/06. *JB
