Recall 23V285000 — FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS
| 2,919 vehicles affected
Defect: Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sequence, 2021-2024 Rize, Scope, Tellaro, 2023-2024 Dazzle, and Twist motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the injection pump module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2023. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000294.

| 49 vehicles affected
Defect: Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Sequence and Tellaro motorhomes. The dinette booth seat belts may be too short preventing them from being usable by some occupants. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."
Consequence: Inability to use the seat belt may increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy: TMC will notify owners, and dealers will replace the 18-inch seat belt tether with a 24-inch tether on both sides of the dinette booth, free of charge. This recall began September 16, 2020. Owners may contact TMC customer service at...

Since purchase in April 2022, driver seat has side to side and up/down movement which is not part of the design, and appears to be unstable and potential safety hazard for driving. This movement does not occur in the similar swivel style passenger seat. Dealership stated seat issues would be repaired under warranty from Thor. Multiple repair attempts were made by authorized service provider (dealership) addressing other seat issues (not adjusting or rotating properly as designed), but excessive play in the seat still exists. Continued requests have been made to have this addressed in a timely fashion. Dealership and manufacturer have been questioned on whether there is potential safety risk for seat to come loose or dislodged during a collision due to this unstable movement, with no answers. Have seen multiple posts online that other Thor Class B owners are experiencing similar issue. LCI/Lippert (the original seat manufacturer) has been contacted and deferred us back to Thor, as they have agreement with Thor for ongoing service of these parts.
WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT HIGHWAY SPEED (I-90 ACROSS MONTANA AND DAKOTAS), THROUGH WINDY WEATHER, THE ROOF MOUNTED WINDOW WOULD POP OPEN AND BEGIN FLAPPING IN THE WIND. THE LATCHING MECHANISM GETS PULLED APART DURING THE WIND GUSTS ALLOWING THE WINDOW TO OPEN BY ITSELF. THIS IS DUE TO THE BAR HANDLE ON THE LATCH FLEXING ENOUGH TO POP OUT OF ITS TRACK ALLOWING THE LATCH MECHANISM TO RELEASE.
