THE EYE BOLT THE 2016 TESLA MODEL X THAT IS USE TO LOAD A TESLA ON TO A TOW TRUCK IS DEFECTIVE.THE LOADING MANUAL IS WRONG AS WELL. 08/24/2018 AROUND 10 AM MOUNTAIN TIME IN UTAH. THE LOCATION WAS AT SERVICE KING IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH. VEHICLE VIN # [XXX] 2016 MODEL X. THE EYE BOLT USED TO LOAD THE VEHICLE ON TO A WRECKER FOR TRANSPORT IS DEFECTIVE. THE LOADING MANUAL DOES NOT ILLUSTRATE A SAFE METHOD TO LOAD VEHICLE USING THIS EYE BOLT. I WAS LOADING THE VEHICLE VIA THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE TESLA MODEL X MANUAL AND AS SOON AS I GOT THE VEHICLE TO THE SPOT TO PUT A CHALK BEHIND WHEEL, THE BOLT BROKE AND THE VEHICLE CAME OFF THE DECK AND ALMOST RAN OVER A KID WORKING IN THE BODY SHOP. I GOT SLIGHTLY INJURED TRYING TO STOP VEHICLE FROM HITTING THE WALL....
