Consequence: If the hood switch prevents the remote engine controls from shutting the vehicle engine down in the event of a hydraulic issue on the Aerial or Digger Derrick, it may increase the risk of an injury.

Defect: Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Aerial Devices and Digger Derrick trucks manufactured from June 3, 2013, through November 13, 2014. Due to an issue in assembly, the vertical cylinders and, by extension, the outriggers may drift when loaded.
Consequence: Outrigger drifting could result in the platform falling and seriously injuring platform occupants or bystanders.
Remedy: Terex will notify owners, and dealers will install the orifice and replace the affected valves, free of charge. The recall began on November 5, 2015. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN619.

Defect: Terex is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Aerial Devices and Digger Derricks manufactured September 2012 through February 2013. The lock valve cavity in the outrigger cylinder may be machined incorrectly and the seals may be damaged.
Consequence: Damaged seals may allow the outrigger to drift. If the outrigger cylinder drifts, stability may be affected and the unit may overturn, increasing the risk of injury.
