THIS IS MY SISTERS CAR AND HAS BEEN GETTING STEADILY WORSE AS TIME GOES ON. WHEN SHE FIRST PURCHASED THE CAR, 6 MONTHS AGO, IT WAS A SLIGHT HESITATION. WE THOUGHT IT WAS THE RANGE SENSOR. THAT DIDN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM. NEITHER DID NEW PLUGS, NOR PATCHING SOME VACUUM LEAKS, CLEANING MAF SENSOR. SUDDEN, BARELY CONTROLLABLE SPEED CHANGES, SHIFTING OUT OF SEQUENCE AND HESITATION WHEN ACCELERATING. THIS VEHICLE IS A DEATH TRAP. I FEEL, AFTER ALL THESE TESTIMONIALS, THAT GM SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. AFTER ALL, THE DOOR TAG SAYS THAT IT'S A GM DAEWOO VEHICLE. JUST BECAUSE IT HAS A SUZUKI GRILLE, DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. ALL OF THESE CARS NEED TO BE SCRAPPED AND THE OWNERS PROPERLY COMPENSATED.. *TR
2004 SUZUKI VERONA WARRANTY ISSUES. CONSUMER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND CHARGES FOR THE REPAIRS TO HIS VEHICLE. *NJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE CHECK LIGHT HAD ILLUMINATED. A DIAGNOSIS DETERMINED THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL SENSOR AND EGR VALVE. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO STALL OUT IN TRAFFIC SPORADICALLY AND THE TACHOMETER JUMPED UP AND DOWN. THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT FIND ANY CODES SHOWING PROBLEMS AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DID NOT COME ON AGAIN. THE CONSUMER WAS ALSO ADVISED TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS LEAKING AND THE RADIATOR AND LINES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JB
I AM GOING TO LIST THE PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE WITH MY 04 SUZUKI VERONA EX. 1. TURN SIGNALS DO NOT CANCEL OUT (USUALLY WHILE TURNING LEFT) 2. STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROLS, VOLUME ACTS LIKE A MUTE, SEAL ACTS LIKE MODE, MODE TURNS OFF RADIO AND THE CD PLAYER STICKS. 3. HEATED SEATS TURN ON AND OFF BY ITSELF. YOU NEED TO PUSH THE BUTTON A FEW TIMES BEFORE IT WILL ACTIVATE. 4. CRUISE CONTROL WILL DISENGAGE BY ITSELF (THIS IS INTERMITTENT) 5. HEAD LIGHTS BURN OUT ABOUT EVERY 3 - 4 MONTHS. 6. ONE ABS SENSOR WENT OUT AROUND 30K MILES AND THE SECOND WENT OUT ABOUT 80K MILES. 7. RIGHT NOW I HAVE CYLINDERS 5 & 6 THAT ARE MISFIRING ON THE VEHICLE THAT NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE AMOUNT TO FIX THIS PROBLEM IS MORE THEN MY CAR IS WORTH. WE ARE 3K MILES OVER WARRANTY AND...
2004 SUZUKI VERONA PROBLEMS WITH JOLTING AFTER BEING STOPPED. CONSUMER STATES THAT WHEN THE ACCELERATOR WAS DEPRESSED THE ENGINE WOULD NOT REGISTER IT RIGHT AWAY UNTIL ABOUT 3 SECONDS OR SO THEN THE VEHICLE WOULD LURCH FORWARD. *KB THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE AS WELL. WHILE DRIVING, SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE STARTED DROPPING SPEED, THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING; THERE WAS SIMPLY NO CONNECTION BETWEEN THE RUNNING ENGINE AND THE GAS PEDAL. BECAUSE THE CONSUMER HAD THE CRUISE CONTROL SET, THE GAS PEDAL LODGED INTO THE FLOOR BOARD TRYING TO MAINTAIN CRUISING SPEED. SEVERAL COMPONENTS WERE REPLACED TO TRY AND RESOLVE THE PROBLEM SUCH AS THE TRANSMISSION, HEAD GASKETS, PCV, FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, FUEL PUMP, CATALYTIC CONVERTER, AND O2 SENSOR. THE ABS LIGHT ILLUMINED IN OCTOBER 2006. IN MARCH 2007 A NEW ABS MODULE WAS INSTALLED. *JB
