On 11/4/25 Pepboys Tires in Pelham AL installed four new tires on my truck - BF Goodrich K03 tires. After driving 15 miles, the driver rear vehicle wheel and tire detached from the hub. All 8 lugnuts were missing and obviously had not been tightened or torqued to specifications. While Pepboys is performing the repair to my truck at a cost of approximately $2000, they seem uninterested in the risk and danger they are creating with such poor performance and lack of quality controls. They endangered me and everyone that was around me on Hwy 31 when the wheel detached. They need to be held accountable for their poor workmanship and danger to the public. It is not acceptable to me that they said that location had not had a wheel detach from a vehicle following service for 3 years. They must be better. And, must be held accountable. I...
