Speed Control, Engine and Transmission issues: After the recall from the manufacture was issued for the the acceleration problems this car still takes long to accelerate and get the car going. It feels like the transmission/ and or engine is ready to go out also and this car is only roughly at 80,000 miles. This car is well maintained.
Car unstable while driving all of a sudden will not shift into 2cd gear will not go over 20mph car is 2013 but only has 32,000 miles. Dealer said no recalls warranty only 5 years or 100,000 miles, it is past that period. Online suggest multiple complaints from consumers with cvt transmission, clasa acyion suits etc.thwy want 5550.00 to replace transmission.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while accelerating from a stop, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart on the third attempt; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission (CVT) needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. The VIN was not available.
I feel something is wrong when I step on the accelerator and the rpm scale shakes while driving. When I stop and go while waiting for the signal, the rpm does not increase and speed does not increase even though I step on the accelerator to the end. When I visit mechanics, they told me it is a transmission problem.
Transmission problems include lurching, acceleration issues, vehicle overheating. It has been very dangerous. In the middle of traffic the vehicle will lose power and start jerking.
The contact owns 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission warning light illuminated, and the vehicle hesitated and stalled. The vehicle was taken to a transmission specialist where it was diagnosed that an unknown sensor needed to be replaced. The sensor was replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the transmission specialist where it was diagnosed that an unknown sensor needed to be replace. The unknown sensor and battery were replaced; however, the failure recurred. The contact then stated that her son had to jump start the vehicle multiple times before the vehicle started. The contact stated that she notified the mechanic at the transmission specialist where it was determined to be an electrical failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure...
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the vehicle started shuddering and the transmission slipped out of gear. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact veered to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the residence where an independent mechanic diagnosed that the turbine input sensor circuit B, pressure control solenoids including solenoid B had failed. The output, input, transmission, and primary speed sensors were replaced. Additionally, the CVT transmission fluid was flushed and refilled; however, the failure persisted. An unknown dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to bring the vehicle to their location for diagnostic test. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000.
My Transmission was replaced in 2016 at 60K miles. 3 years after the car was bought brand new. As of today the car has 114K miles. September 9, 2022 my transmission completely shut down on me. Also the check engine like came on. I have had the car only a year and the problem just came about. Im worried and concerned that the transmission should have not got out this quick for me. And also concerned as to why the original owner had the same transmission problem as me and had to replace after 3 years! I got in my car Sep 9 , 2022 and drove about 20 minutes and the car started jerking forward and the RPMs were going crazy moving so fast. I turned around to head back home, i got on the bridge and was driving about 50/55mph. The car started decreasing in speed all the...
My car started jolting forward when trying to shift gears (automatic transmission). once i hit 100,000 miles. Then one day while in the drive thru I put my foot to the petal and it rolled forward with no true power to it. This happened again today after turning right at a light with oncoming traffic! I almost got hit! I am going to a mechanic tomorrow but came here and see 69 other people with SAME problem from the SAME year/model/make! This is a manufacturing issue, I literally only drive to and from work, no long trips, no racing around, etc. Please help!
Torque Converter Seal leak
My 2013 Nissan Versa has 80,000 miles. Since the car had 72,000 the transmission started to lurch forward while coming to a stop. This lurch has pushed me out into traffic on at least 5 times. As you come to a stop, and you think you are stopping it lunges forward placing others at serious risk. I must be very cautious when approaching sidewalks where pedestrians may be as well as oncoming traffic. The transmission also stalls and loses power when trying to accelerate. When I pull out sometimes the car does not move and will hesitate before it goes. This is extremely dangerous when pulling into oncoming traffic. The transmission "CVT" is a danger to people and should be replaced.
I TOOK THE 2013 NISSAN VERSA TO RICART NISSAN DEALERSHIP ON 2 DIFFERENT OCCASION DUE TO THE CAR WAS SHIFTING DIFFERENTLY AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR THE ONLY THING THEY TOLD ME WAS THE CAR HAD A CVT TRANSMISSION AND THAT IS WHY II FEEL THE JERK IS BECAUSE A CVT TRANSMISSION YOU WILL FEEL THE GEARS CHANGING AND THAT IT IS DIFFERENT THAT AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVIING ON THE FREEWAY AND THE CAR STARTED JERKING AND SO PULLED OVER AND AND PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND THEN SHE CALLED ME HER MOTHER [XXX] TO GET HELP OFF OF THE FREEWAY. WHEN I GOT THERE A POLICE CAR PULLED UP BEHIND US AND PUT HIS LIGHTS ON AND CAME TO THE CAR AND SAID HE WOULD SATY TO KEEP US FROM GETTING HIT ON THE FREEWAY FOR OUR SAFETY UNTIL...
When accelerating quickly to enter a highway, the car bucks continually until you pull over to the side of road and turn it off and back on.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while her son was driving, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 87,000.
I was accelerating onto a highway speed increasing to highway speed and suddenly (in front of a tractor trailer moving at least 70mph) vehicle lost power began to shudder. We had a vehicle right on our bumper. The truck that had trouble changing lanes bearing down on us vehicle began to gain power and then lost it again. Once there was room we got over onto open shoulder (barely in time to avoid being absolutely crushed by this truck) we pulled over. Towed to a repair shop we learned the transmission had failed around 40mph to 50mph during acceleration. It was inspected by an ASE technician. Worse, we found out from the shop this happens to many transmissions in this same vehicle. This is scary.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the vehicle seized. The contact stated an unknown warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to restart the vehicle however, the vehicle started jerking. The contact stated shortly after starting to drive, the jerking stopped and the contact continued driving to her destination. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure. The contact stated that he continued to experience the failure intermittently. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would jerk and shudder upon the depression of the accelerator pedal without warning. The contact would be forced to restart the vehicle to resume normal driving. The contact initially took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with transmission failure. The contact then called the dealer where they acknowledged that they were aware of failures with a similar vehicle; however, there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.
CVT transmission doesn’t shift in high gear.
my car is 7 years old but has only 57,000 miles on it. i had an older car so used that most of the time and saved this car. i have had endless problems with this car with its electrical system, the headlights go out all of the time and now the undercarriage is costing me alot of repair costs. dont know if i am being ripped off because i am a female senior citizen or the car is really fallingj apart at 57,000 miles. i paid well over $600 for repairs on exhaust system. now they tell me i owe almost $2,000 for repairs on something called abushing and a control arm and if i dont fix it the car will fall apart into two pieces. i have no way to get under the car for this kind of thing. i can so easily be ripped off. i need...
the undercarriage of my car seems to be falling into pieces. the car has only 57,000 miles on it. it has sat in my driveway for 7 years because i had another nissan, my sentra, which i had for l5 years and it never had undercarriage issues. and i never had all these issues with my sentra that i am having with this versa now that i am free to drive it since i got rid of my sentra after l5 years. the dealer says power control arms pressure forceing grees to be released. and heat shield, repair heat shield ripped off bolts and causing rattling under vehicle. i just paid a $600 bill to that same dealer for that same areas of work not that long ago. why is my nissan falling apart. i had a sentra i had for l5 years and never had trouble with the undercarriage...
Car won’t accelerate past 25mph and is very loud. I took it to a Nissian dealer service center and they told me that they can’t get the code to come up for a transmission but they think that’s the problem. However, the Nissans that came out in 2013 with my make and model had bad transmissions and Nissan won’t help or cover the transmission expenses that existed at the time of manufacturing.
CURRENTLY HAVE 2013 NISSAN VERSA. STILL PAYING ON IT CANT DRIVE IT. HAD FIRST TRANSMISSION 2018,2019,2020 AND I AN IN NEED TRANSMISSION AGAIN . I WAS TOLD THEY ARE ALL DEFECTIVE !!! MY VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON IT AND AS IT WONT GO PAST 25 MPH. PLEASE HELP ME. GAS PEDAL GOES IN LIMP MODE AND YOU CAN FEEL DIFFERENT SHIFTING IN GAS PEDAL
Currently on 4th transmission cant drive car.
The car surges, jerks, increases in RPM's, stalls. This has been happening on & off for quite sometime, but recently has become more frequent.
THE TRANSMISSION ON THIS VEHICLE JERKS AT TIMES MAKING THE VEHICLE LUNGE FORWARD. IT ALSO DOES NOT ENGAGE FROM A STOP OR SLOW SPEED PLACING ME IN DANGER OF BEING HIT BY THE VEHICLES HESITATION. WHEN GOING UP A HILL THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT ENGAGE OR SLIPS PRIOR TO ENGAGING SO I HAVE NO POWER TO GO UP THE HILL. THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS AT A STOP SIGN SO WHEN I PULL OUT I NEVER KNOW IF I WILL BE STUCK IN THE WAY OF TRAFFIC. THIS TRANSMISSION IS DANGEROUS. WHEN TURNING THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT ENGAGE FOR A SHORT TIME JERKING THE VEHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN VERSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE STOPPED, THE ENGINE WAS SLOW TO RESPOND CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CERRITOS NISSAN (18707 STUDEBAKER RD, CERRITOS, CA 90703, (562) 219-2788) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 132,000.
I WAS ON THE STREET AND THE CAR JUST STOPPED GOING FORWARD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED HOME. NOW THE CAR STARTS, JUGGLE BACK AND FORTH BUT I CAN'T GO OVER 45 MILES PER HOUR. NO ONE AT NISSAN WILL HELP ME. TELLS ME IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS MY ONLY MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION. WITH COVID I DON'T MAKE ENOUGH TO BUY ANOTHER CAR AND LIVE A NORMAL LIFE. I AM STILL PAYING FOR A BROKEN CAR.
THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT WHILE GOING UP A BRIDGE. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE TO THESE VEHICLES WITH THE TRANSMISSION TYPE. IT IS UNABLE TO BE REPAIRED DUE TO THE HIGH COST OF THIS TRANSMISSION TYPE. SINCE THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN ISSUE, IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER RECALLS.
WHILE DRIVING THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN HARD SHIFTING, LONG SHIFTING, SKIP SHIFTING, AND NOT SHIFTING. WHILE ON CRUISE CONTROL GOING UPHILL IT WILL REV UP AND MAKE OUT ON RPMS AND I HAVE TO TURN OFF CRUISE CONTROL. AT ONE POINT GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY IT HAD NO POWER LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL AND WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED. I STILL AM HAVE SHIFTING ISSUE.
TRANSMISSION BEGAN HARD SHIFTING, LONG SHIFTING, SKIP SHIFTING, AND NOT SHIFTING. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WAS TOLD BY MECHANIC THIS IS BECAUSE A REVERS TAIL LIGHT WENT OUT. REPLACED TAIL LIGHT AND TRANSMISSION WORKS NORMAL. THIS DOESNT SOUND RIGHT TO ME!
THIS NISSAN VERSA 4 DOOR FAMILY VEHICLE WAS MADE WITH A FAULTY CVT BY NISSAN WHICH IS SLIPPING AND PREVENTS THE VEHICLE FROM ACCELERATING PROPERLY CAUSING A VERY DANGEROUS DRIVING HAZARD WHILE ON THE ROAD. A TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST INFORMED US THAT NISSAN'S ARE NOTORIOUS FOR PRODUCING VEHICLES WITH FAULTY CVTS AND THEY DO NOT PROVIDE PARTS SO THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION MUST BE REPLACED COSTING OVER 4,000 DOLLARS. WE CONTACTED THE NISSAN DEALER AND NISSAN U.S.A. AND THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO HELP US WITH THE REPAIR COSTS. THEY DO NOT CARE THAT THEY PRODUCED ANOTHER LEMON! WE ARE FORCED TO MAKE MONTHLY CAR PAYMENTS ON A CAR THAT WE CANNOT DRIVE!
SINCE BUYING THE CAR IN 2016, MY CAR TRANSMISSION HAS RECENTLY FAILED. I HAD NO LIGHT UP THAT INDICATED A WARNING IN MY TRANSMISSION. MY CAR STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AS I WAS TURNING LEFT INTO A 4-WAY INTERSECTION. BEFORE THAT THE FAN WAS ALSO DEFECTED UPON PURCHASING. I OWN THE THE CAR NOW.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO (COOK CHEVROLET610 N, TROY RD, ELBA, AL 36323) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT A NEW TRANSMISSION WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT WAS GIVEN A QUOTE OF $2500-3000 FOR THE COST OF REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
STARTING AT 50,000 MILES THE CAR STARTED TO MAKE A SQUEAKING NOISE WHEN ACCELERATING. THE CAR WAS MAINTAINED BY A MECHANIC AND ALL BELTS WERE CHECKED. THERE WAS NO CARS FOUND AT THAT TIME. AFTER HITTING APPROXIMATELY 50,000 MILES I STARTED HAVING MORE ISSUES THAT INCLUDED LOUDER NOISES FROM THE ENGINE, UNEXPECTED ACCELERATION, AND AFTER LETTING THE FOOT OFF OF THE GAS PEDAL THE CAR WOULD SLOW DOWN IMMENSELY. RECENTLY THE CAR WAS CHECKED AGAIN BY MY MECHANIC AND IT WAS FOUND IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION THAT WAS AT FAULT. A FEW TIMES WITH THE CAR IN PARK HAD SEVERE TREMORS TOO. NOW WITH 75,000 MILES THE CAR IS HAVING STRONG JERKS WHEN BEING PUT I TO REVERSE. ALSO, WHEN ACCELERATING I NEED TO LET OFF THE GAS AND ALLOW THE TRANSMISSION TIME TO CHANGE GEAR.
TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AT 129 THOUSAND MILES..CALLED NISSAN AND THEY SAID IT WAS 9 THOUSAND MILES OUT OF WARRANTY..AND THAT IT WAS OUR PROBLEM..ABSOLUTELY RUDE ABOUT IT..WE HAVE 161 THOUSAND ON IT NOW STILL WITH A BAD TRANSMISSION CAUSE IT'S TO EXPENSIVE TO FIX.. PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT RECALLS ON THE CVT TRANSMISSION BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY FOR THIS CAR
EVERY TIME I WANT TO SPEED MY CAR SLOW DOWN, AND HAS A WEIRD SOUNDS IN THE MOTER.
WHEN DRIVING AS I AM PICKING UP SPEED CAR JERKS (PULL) AS IT SWITCHING GEARS.
WHILE DRIVING ONTO THE FREEWAY MY CAR STARTING HESITATING TO CATCH SPEED AND AFTER IT DID WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY IT BEGAN TO SHUDDER AND LOOSE POWER . IT WAS ACCOMPANIED WE WITH WHINING SOUND AND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT INDICATOR CAME ON . I WENT TO A TRANSMISSION HAD A FLUID EXCHANGE DONE AND THE FLUID TURNED TO A DARK LOOKING OIL ALMOST SIMILAR TO MOTOR OIL . THE TRANSMISSION CONTINUES TO MALFUNCTION ON THE HIGHWAY AT HIGH SPEED AND ON CITY ROAD AT LOWER SPEEDS. THE QUALITY OF MY DRIVE TRAIN DECLINED TO TO THE POINT OF NO LONGER RUNNING. MY VEHICLE HAS NOW BEEN PARKED FOR ALMOST 2 AND A HALF MONTHS . IT ONLY HAS 114,000 MILES ON IT . I CALLED NISSAN NORTH AMERICA WILL NOT HELP ME FIX IT BECAUSE IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO STALL AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE WHEN DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING AND WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO BERMAN NISSAN OF CHICAGO (3456 N KEDZIE AVE, CHICAGO, IL 60618, 773-295-4650) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT A NEW TRANSMISSION WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT WAS GIVEN A QUOTE OF $4,000 FOR THE COST OF REPAIRS. THE CONTACT INFORMED THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FAILURE AND THEY AGREED TO PAY 60% OF THE COST FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000.
THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT WANTING TO CATCH THE GEARS TO MAKE IT DRIVE.
I WAS ABOUT TO PULL OUT OF A PARKING LOT, I CHANGED MY GEAR FROM PARKED TO DRIVE AND AS I STARTED TO DRIVE OUT, I NOTICED MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON AGAIN AND MY CAR JERKED BACK AND FORTH A COUPLE OF TIMES AS I STARTED TO ACCELERATE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED, BUT USUALLY THE CAR ONLY JERKS FOR A SECOND WHENEVER I CHANGE GEARS.
I HAVE HAD A JUDDERING AND DELAYED ACCELERATION ISSUE SINCE REACHING 50,000 MILES HAD IT CHECKED BY THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD NO ISSUE COULD BE FOUND. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE TIRES. SINCE THEN THE JUDDERING AND LOW DELAYED ACCELERATION JUST GOT WORSE. WENT TO THE DEALER AGAIN AND THEY REPROGRAMMED THE TCM TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE? SINCE THE TCM WAS REPROGRAMMED I HAVE HAD 2 OCCASIONS WHEN ACCELERATING TO GO ON THE HIGHWAY WHERE THE RPMS JUMPED UP TO 5000 AND OVER WITH NO POWER (HIGH RPMS AND NO POWER). I HAD TO PULL OVER COME TO COMPLETE STOP AND UNTIL THE RPMS WOULD COME DOWN. ALSO EVERY TIME WHEN GOING UP HILLS BIG OR SMALL THE VEHICLE'S RPMS JUMP UP AND BARLEY MAKES IT UP THE HILL. (HIGH RPMS AND NO POWER) THIS VEHICLE IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO KILL ME OR SOMEONE ELSE. THE DEALER INSPECTED IT...
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE STOPPED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 130,000.
TAKATA RECALL: TRANSMISSION BLEW OUT AFTER 2 YEARS OF BUYING OFF THE NISSAN LOT. THIS HAPPENED WHEN IN ROUTE OUT OF TOWN FOR THE DAY, CAR WAS STALLING AND SEEMED TO BE IN NEUTRAL BUT ACTUALLY IN DRIVE. HAD TO TOW HOME AFTER STOPPING AND GOING ON STREETS AND FREEWAYS.
TRANSMISSION SHAKES /STUDDERS AND VIBRATES ON ACCELERATION AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN PRESSING ON GAS. ALSO NO DELAY IN ACCELERATION WHEN PRESSING GAS FROM STOP OR SLOW SPEEDS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN VERSA. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO HAVE THE FUEL TANK REPAIRED, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION SOFTWARE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MOSSY NISSAN CHULA VISTA (1885 AUTO PARK PL, CHULA VISTA, CA 91911, (619) 397-6578) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000.
CAR WAS PARKED IN A PARKING SPOT. IT WAS ABLE TO MOVE IN REVERSE; HOWEVER, WHEN IN 'DRIVE' NO POWER/GAS WAS GOING TO THE VEHICLE. WE HAD IT TOWED TO A SERVICE CENTER AND WAS TOLD VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION.
TRANSMISSION SLIPS STALLS SHUDDERS AND WON'T PULL AWAY FROM STOP LIGHT AT TIMES ALSO ON ACCELERATION IT HESITATED BADLY
WHEN I FIRST PURCHASED MY VEHICLE (NEW) IN 2012 FOR THE 2013 NISSAN VERSA, I NOTICED THAT WHEN TAKING OFF AT A RED LIGHT, THE ENGINE/TRANS SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS A HESITATING TO GO. I MENTIONED THIS TO THE SERVICE GUY WHEN I WENT IN FOR MY FIRST OIL CHANGE, HE SAID THAT IT'S BECAUSE IT A CVT TRANSMISSION. ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO OR SO, THE CAR WOULD JERK WHEN TAKING OFF AT 20MPH AND THE RPM NEEDLE WOULD GO UP AND DOWN AS I ACCELERATE TO GO FASTER, I'VE TAKEN THIS CAR FOR OIL CHANGES AND KEPT UP WITH THE RECOMMENDED SERVICES. I'VE HAD THE TRANS OIL CHANGED AND IT STILL DOES THIS ESPECIALLY GOING ON THE EXPRESSWAY. THE CAR HESITATES TO GO, AND NOW I READ THAT THERE ARE MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUES JUST LIKE I DO. THIS MORNING WHEN GETTING ON THE EXPRESSWAY TO GO...
2013 NISSAN VERSA STRUGGLES TO TURN ON. CAR ALSO IDLES ROUGH AND HAS STALLED AT STOP LIGHTS. TOOK IT TO BUENA PARK NISSAN AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. RECENTLY THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, IT WAS P0705 TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR.
