TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAYED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR WAS UNLOCKED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT WAS COLD OUTSIDE AND THE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ROCKAWAY NISSAN (600 BURNSIDE AVE, INWOOD, NY 11096) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED DUE TO A DENT ON THE DRIVER'S DOOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO VISIBLE DENT OR IMPACT TO THE DOOR TO CAUSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,115.
