2021 NISSAN ROGUE SPORT Engine Problems

The radiator fan has failed, causing the air conditioning to not work unless the car is at high speeds, and at low speeds, the engine is at risk of overheating. The issue seems to be a bad bearing in the fan.

The engine fan fails causing the fan to move and coolant levels to diminish which causes the engine to over heat.

While in drive mode my car just shut off. The dash cluster, screen, etc remained on. I was able to put the car in park and start it again, however this could have caused me a horrible accident losing power while in drive like this. I just purchased this vehicle in June of 2024. It has 81k on it. I called the dealership which I bought it at Mccarthy Auto in Sedalia MO. They said I should call Nissan.

Leasing 2021 Nissan rogue and approximately September 2023 engine making terrible noises. Brought to dealership and was told engine failure and they were not covering it since they found some sludge. After fighting with them they asked for maintenance records which I gave them all up to date. They still refuse to replace engine. Car was held hostage unless I paid for engine which I did. Looking for way to recoup my money

The steering wheel and brake peddle locked (unable to steer or pump brakes) causing me to lose control of the car. I ended up sideswiping a tree and rear-ending a parked pickup truck, totaling my car. This malfunction was an ongoing issue that I initially reported to the dealership which the car came from and also after occurring 2 additional times (with video evidence). The dealership stated that because they were unable to duplicate the malfunction, they could not fix the problem and due to my state's Lemon Law, Nissan Corporate could not get involved until the same malfunction occurred for a 4th time. This exact malfunction (unable to steer or pump brakes) had only occurred while the car was in reverse but unfortunately for me, the 4th occurrence happened while the car was in drive.
