The contact owns a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 MPH, there were audible beeps, and a message flashed on the instrument cluster that the “Forward Collision Avoidance” system had failed. The contact stated that the vehicle immediately started to slow down, and the cruise control disengaged. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the front radar needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that the failure reoccurred. The contact took the vehicle back to the same dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the front lane departure camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired.
