The 25 pathfinder SV back up camera lags 2 to 3 seconds when shifted to reverse. It show a still image of what's behind but does not update to live feed till a few seconds later. This is dangerous as there have been many cases where I thought what the camera was showing was a live view behind my car when it was just a still image. I have had some close calls when backing into parkings spots.
Recently purchased a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder. The feature they call "idle stop" did not work. Noticed withing 2 days of vehicle purchase. After listening to some lame excuses, I made an appointment to have the dealer fix it. They were not able to fix it. The document they gave me from Nissan states it is an electrical problem, and they do not have a fix. I filed a case with Nissan, and they rejected a refund and said it would take another week to decide if they will replace it. Town Center Nissan was able to duplicate the issue but had no fix available on 9/25/25. They agreed to communicate with the manufacturer and get back to me in a few days. They did not caution me regarding driving the vehicle and returned the keys after connecting to the Nissan diagnostic computer which pulled codes stating a front crash sensor malfunction. They stated their database included 5 other similar Nissan vehicles with similar issues.
3-25-25 I got into my car at approximately 7:20 am with my children to take them to school and as soon as I drove out of my driveway I noticed a warning light flashing on my dashboard. I drove for maybe a mile before pulling over to turn my car off and back on to see if it would go away. I also called my husband to inform him and he looked it up to see what the light was. He said it was the automatic emergency braking (AEB) warning light. I turned the car back on and started to drive again but the warning light came back on, at this time I was crossing a railroad track, and my car stopped accelerating. The engine would rev up but not accelerate. I immediately looked down to see if I was in Drive and it was. At that moment a train...
