All Traction Control System Complaints
2006 NISSAN ARMADA VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON AND BRAKES FAILED. THE PROBLEM FIRST OCCURRED AS I WAS DRIVING ON A STRAIGHT, FLAT STREET AT ABOUT 40 MILES PER HOUR. PRESSING THE BRAKES CAUSES A LOUD CRUNCHING NOISE ON THE FRONT THAT SOUNDED LIKE THE BRAKES BEING CHEWED UP. IT HAS HAPPENED ABOUT FOUR TIMES IN ABOUT A 6-MONTH PERIOD BEFORE TAKING THE VEHICLE IN FOR THE RECENT RECALLS ON THE FUEL AND SOME UNDER THE VEHICLE PROBLEM. SINCE THAT TIME THE PROBLEM OCCURS CONSTANTLY. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY RAN TEST 59637 WHICH SHOWED CODE C1189 BOOSTER DEFECT. IT ALSO STATES THAT IS "UNSAFE TO DRIVE." I COULD NOT AFFORD A $1,200.00 REPAIR JOB SO THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD REPROGRAM IT TO SEE IF THAT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM, AND IT DID NOT. I CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS, AND THEY...
