The contact stated that while driving at approximately 2 MPH in a parking lot, as he depressed the brake pedal and was about to shift the vehicle to park (P), the vehicle inadvertently accelerated. The contact stated that the vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into a building head-on. The contact stated that the air bags did not deploy, and the front collision avoidance had not activated.
