TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BATTERY CABLE DEPOSITS BURNED OFF. PERIODICALLY HIS VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE BATTERY HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO HEAT DAMAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER ALSO INFORMED HIM THERE WERE NO RECALLS OR WARRANTIES RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
