All Back Over Prevention Complaints
The contact owns a 2024 Mazda CX-90. The contact stated while driving the same day the vehicle was purchased, the message "Telematics Malfunction" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the message was cleared; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V718000 (Back Over Prevention, Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Departure). The contact stated that while driving, the images of the front-view, side-view, and rear-view cameras failed to appear on the center display intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the dealer determined that the view monitor control module software needed to be updated; however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available.
