The car would not go into Park. The park button flickered, and a message appeared on the dashboard stating that the vehicle was too fast to be put into Park, even though the car was completely stopped in a parking lot with the brake pedal engaged. After multiple attempts to press the button and engage the parking gear without success, I turned off the car using the power button, which eventually allowed it to shift into Park. This situation is extremely dangerous. If the parking gear were to engage unexpectedly and hit any objects or people, the consequences could be catastrophic. I have reached out to Maserati with this concern, but it has taken an inordinate amount of time for them to respond.
