4 INCHES OF RAINWATER IN THE REAR PASSENGER FLOOR. VIA THE NET THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH ALL DIVISIONS OF FORD'S LUXURY CARS 1998 TO 2007. YOUTUBE HAS SEVERAL HOW TO VIDEOS WITH 5,000 TO 15,000 HITS (KEYWORDS: LINCOLN TOWN CAR WATER LEAK). THE SHEER NUMBER OF VIDEO HITS GIVES INSIGHT TO HOW VAST THIS PROBLEM IS. THE GASKET THAT FORD MAKES FOR THESE CARS DETERIORATES. THE LEAK STARTS SLOW AND " MOLD SPREADS UNTIL SOMEONE SEES INCHES OF WATER IN THE REAR PASSENGER FLOOR. MY BUDDY FOLLOWED REPAIR VIDEO DIRECTIONS. NOW THE RIGHT REAR IS NICE AND DRY TO THE TOUCH*. STILL WAITING FOR THE FRONT TO DRY OUT*. NOW THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT AND REAR FLOOR IS WET.
