THE AUTONOMOUS EMERGENCY BRAKING (AEB) SYSTEM IS NON FUNCTIONAL. ERROR MESSAGE ON THE DASH WILL SOMETIMES REPORT RECALIBRATION AND AT OTHER TIME STATE THAT THE SYSTEM IS UNAVAILABLE. ALSO INDICATES THAT THE "FORWARD ALERT" IS NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER IS UNCLEAR ABOUT HOW THIS WILL EFFECT VEHICLE HANDLING AND SAFETY. THEY HAVE REPORTED THAT THERE IS A SOFTWARE PATCH COMING BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN PROVIDED TO THE PUBLIC YET.
