THE CONTACT WAS INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND PLACED THE PARKING BRAKE IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THERE WAS A RECALL UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 05V502000 (POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION) THAT MAY BE RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL AND DIAGNOSTIC TEST WOULD HAVE TO BE PERFORMED TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
