TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE RISING FROM THE VEHICLE. HE WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHERE THE SMOKE ORIGINATED, HOWEVER, HE NOTICED FLAMES UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE FIRE EXTINGUISHED AFTER TEN MINUTES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY A CHIPMUNK LIVING IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VIN AND ENGINE SIZE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 28,000.
