Front Passenger Daytime Running Light Chip Failure Range Rover Velar Forums have THOUSANDS of this exact issue. Land Rover has ceased all communications with me regarding this issue, including the executive office.

Driver side door will not lock. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the door handle and it worked for a little while. The vehicle locks after you start driving but when you unlock or open the door you can’t relock the car. This is a safety issue. I have taken it to many repair shops and they say it is not the mechanism, it is the software issue. Land Rover continues to say it is not. I have found that many people have had the same issue on different forum.

Upon startup, vehicle infotainment system, radio controls, climate controls and blue-tooth are inoperative. Display is black but engine is running. This continues for a while even after driving has commenced. When vehicle comes to a stop at a signal or in traffic, engine stops and vehicles goes into park. This is different from when the vehicle normally auto shuts off in stop and go traffic. After a few minutes, display sometimes restores but usually the vehicle has to be shut down, locked, unlocked and then restarted, but this too does not always work. We have brought it in for service multiple times and we are told that they cannot reproduce the problem, but they updated the software. CAR BLACKS OUT STALL WHILE DRIVING AFTER CLICKING SOUND ON RIGHT SIDE OF CAR

FOR TWO YEARS THIS CAR AS HAD NUMEROUS EPISODES OF WHILE DRIVING COMPLETELY SHUTTING DOWN WITH NO ADVANCED WARNING AND AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. I HAVE DRIVEN ON WARM, COLD, WET AND DRY DAYS WHEN THIS HAS OCCURRED. MOST RECENTLY I WAS DRIVING ON A MAIN STREET WHEN THE CAR JUST SHUT DOWN AND WAS ALMOST HIT FROM BEHIND. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE MANY TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION, THEY SAY THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE AUTOMOBILE AND I AM LUCKY THAT THE CAR BEHIND ME WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE COLLISION. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CAR, LUCK WAS ON MY SIDE THIS LAST TIME, I COULD HAVE BEEN INJURED OR WORSE. BESIDES THE SHUTTING DOWN THIS CAR HAS HAD SO MANY ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER ISSUES AND ALWAYS NEEDS SOFTWARE UPDATES WHICH DON'T REALLY FIX THE PROBLEMS AND SOMETIMES CAUSE OTHER ISSUES...

I STARTED HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY SUV THE ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON AND THEN THE TRUCK WOULD START SHACKING OUT OF THE NO WHERE AND TURN OFF ALL OF A SUDEN, THIS HAPPENED TO ME SEVERAL TIMES, I TOOK IT TO ITS DEALER AND MY TRUCK WAS AT THE DEALER FOR A LITTLE OVER A MONTH. SINCE THATS HAPPENED I HONESTLY DONT FEEL COMFERTABLE NOW.
