DRIVING OVER 60MPH WHEN MESSAGE ALERT SAYING TRANS FAILSAFE PROG APPEARS. A LOUD GRINDING NOISE IS HEARD AND THE MESSAGE ALERT SYSTEM INFORMS ME TO PUT THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL. WHICH I IMMEDIATELY DO. I HAD TO COAST IN HEAVY TRAFFIC TO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND WAIT FOR TOW TRUCK. ANY ATTEMPT TO PUT THE VEHICLE IN ANYTHING OTHER THAN NEUTRAL RESULTS IN LOUD GRINDING NOISE. IT IS AN 2004 RANGE ROVER WITH APPROX 73000 MILES. WHEN TOW TRUCK ARRIVED WE BOTH NOTICED A LARGE STAIN UNDER THE CAR AS SOME TYPE OF FLUID HAD BEGAN TO LEAK AS I WAITED FOR THE TOW TRUCKS ARRIVAL. *TR
