Defect: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2010-2013 Range Rover Sport and 2010-2016 LR4 vehicles equipped with 3.0L V6 or 5.0L V8 engines. The fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank may crack, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover LR4. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V635000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer was contacted; however, the contact was informed that the recall had expired and was no longer available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure regarding the unrepaired recall.
Communication error with system. This controls all functions from braking to cameras to suspension and audio/phone. Research shows that this is a habitual issue on almost all Land Rover models with no fix except to replace entire infotainment center which parts only range from 3-6k. Something needed to be done. This is supposed to be a high end vehicle. There are so many blogs with the same issue with no fix

According to dealer, the connecting rod became dislodged and forced itself through the engine block rendering the entire engine and all related components (e.g. supercharger) inoperable and requiring replacement.
