I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD TWICE WITHIN THE LAST FOUR YEARS BECAUSE OF A CRACK WHICH DEVELOPS FROM THE POINT WHERE THE REAR VIEW MIRROR ATTACHES TO THE WINDOW. A 12 TO 15 INCH VERTICAL CRACK HAS DEVELOPED EITHER DURING OR AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN WASHED. THE VEHICLE HAS ONLY BEEN USED FOR COMMUTING PURPOSES, NOT OFF ROADING. *JB
