LAND ROVER 2001 DISCOVERY II... I HAVE ILLUMINATION OF HILL DESCENT CONTROL, ABS, TRACTION CONTROL DASH WARNING LIGHTS... CAUSED BY A MALFUNCTIONING SENSOR OR MODULATOR...DEALERS DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS. WEB SEARCH SHOWS THIS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE, WITH A VERY COSTLY EXPENSE TO REPAIR AND DEALERS ARE REPLACING MODULATORS AT A $2000 PLUS COST AND THE PROBLEM DOESN'T GO AWAY! I HAVE LOSS OF TRACTION CONTROL, ANTI-LOCK BRAKES STILL WORK...DON'T KNOW ABOUT HILL DESCENT CONTROL. NO CONSEQUENCES YET, NO REPAIRS YET...HOPE THERE WILL BE A RECALL...CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE VEHICLE REPAIRED AND IT'S NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. *JB
