1) REPLACED OX SENSOR@ 35000 MILES 2) REPLACED RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING @ 45000 MILES 3) REAR WINDOW IS TOO SMALL TO SEE SAFELY. BLIND SPOT IS LARGE. 4) HEADLIGHT AUTO-SENSOR SETTING DOES NOT INITIATE LIGHTS IN DAYLIGHT RAIN CONDITIONS. 5) SEAT DESIGN DOES NOT PROVIDE LUMBAR SUPPORT AND HEADREST IS PERMANETLY ANGLED TO CAUSE NECK PAIN DURING A LONG DRIVE.
JOE MYERS KIA & THE MANUFACTURER OF KIA HAVE BEEN FRAUDULENT IN THEIR BUSINESS WITH ALL THE 2013 KIA RIOS REAR WINDSHIELD DESIGN HAS A DEFECT IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILD OF THE VEHICLE, THE BACK WINDSHIELD IS BUILT TO HIGH & IT CAUSES AN OBSTRUCTION TO DRIVERS VISIBILITY. IN 2007, THE DOT PROPOSED A NEW SAFETY REGULATION TO HELP ELIMINATE BLIND ZONES BEHIND VEHICLES THAT CAN HIDE THE PRESENCE OF INDIVIDUALS. THE PROPOSED RULE WAS REQUIRED BY CONGRESS AS PART OF THE CAMERON GULBRANSEN KIDS TRANSPORTATION SAFETY ACT OF 2007. IN ADDITION, ISSUED BY THE (NHTSA), WOULD EXPAND THE REQUIRED FIELD OF VIEW FOR ALL CARS. THE KIA MANUFACTURERS DESIGN OF THE BACK WINDSHIELD OF THE 2013 KIA RIOS ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE SAFETY REGULATION SET BY NEITHER THE DOT NOR THE PROPOSAL ISSUED BY THE NHTSA NOR THE STANDARDS FOR SAFE DRIVING THAT ARE SET...
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA RIO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REVERSING FROM A RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY, THE CONTACT LOST REAR WINDOW VISIBILITY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS WHERE IT WAS ADVISED THAT THE REAR WINDOW WAS BUILT ABNORMALLY HIGH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THEY COULD INSTALL ADDITIONAL MIRRORS FOR THE CONTACT TO BE ABLE TO SEE TRAFFIC BEHIND THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED.
