The contact owns a 2022 Keystone Montana RV. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V144000(Electrical System, Equipment) several times. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle had experienced electrical failures and was taken to the dealer, where it was discovered that the inverter had caught on fire due to the solar controller failure. The contact was informed that the solar controller had failed and had sent 40 Volts to the electrical system instead of 12 Volts, causing the electrical failures. The dealer determined that the solar controller, the inverter, the converter, the 12-Volts battery, the 12-Volts brain, the 12-Volts command center, and several lights needed to be replaced.
