Defect: THE ANCHOR END OF THE SAFETY BELT BUCKLE WAS INCORRECTLY LOCATED, CAUSING THE UPPER TORSO RESTRAINT TO BE IMPROPERLY POSITIONED.
Consequence: IMPROPER LOCATION OF THE UPPER TORSO RESTRAINT RESULTS IN REDUCED SEAT OCCUPANT PROTECTION IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REINSTALL THE SEAT BUCKLE ANCHOR TO PROPERLY POSITION THE SEAT AND UPPER TORSO RESTRAINTS.
