I have 2 Kenworth trucks VIN [XXX] and [XXX] both on recall NHTSA 24V190. The recalls have been performed my issue is with reimbursement for prior replacement for the recalled parts. I have attached emails from Paccar as well as the invoices for the replacement of the recalled parts. Any help you can provide is appreciated as I'm not getting anywhere with Paccar or the dealers. The contact stated that while standing behind the passenger side seat in between the sleeper portion and the cab, there was an abnormally loud popping sound detected. The vehicle began to move and crashed into the door of an unknown tractor-trailer cab. The vehicle had been parked for approximately 45- 60 minutes before the crash. The contact had to seek medical assistance from a therapist due to the incident. There was no report of fire, airbag deployment, or police report filed. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.

The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission was not operating properly. The contact stated that the vehicle downshifted unexpectedly with the transmission fault warning light illuminated. The vehicle was restarted; however, the failure recurred. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 338,388. The VIN was not available.
