CONNECTING ROD BOLTS BACK OUT AROUND 6000 MILES ON A LOT OF BIKES INCLUDING MINE STARTS WITH KNOCKING NOISE LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO

THE MOTORCYCLE STALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN TRAFFIC, WHEN THE CLUTCH WAS ENGAGED. THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE BUT THE ENGINE ALWAYS RESTARTS IMMEDIATELY. *TR
WHEN SLOWING DOWN FROM ALMOST ANY SPEED , AS YOU DOWN SHIFT THE GEARS THE BIKE WILL DIE COMPLETELY, THUS FORCING ME TO STOP AND RESTART THE BIKE, EVEN IN HIGHWAY OCCURRENCES . STEERING BEARINGS ARE FAULTY AFTER ONLY 100 MILES AND ALMOST THROUGH ME OFF THE BIKE IN MULTIPLE TURNS. *TR
JUST PURCHASED THE NINJA 300 WITH 2 MILES ON IT, FIRST 2 WEEKS WAS FINE, UNTIL I STARTED TO TAKE IT TO WORK. EVERY TIME I WOULD LEAVE FROM WORK MY MOTORCYCLE WILL STALL AT EVERY STOP LIGHT/SIGN UNTIL I HIT THE FREEWAY (BASICALLY ANY TIME I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH TO SLOW DOWN). AFTER I GET OFF THE FREEWAY THE MOTORCYCLE SEEMS TO BE FINE. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS BECAUSE I HAD TO DO THE FIRST SERVICE, THIS IS MY FIRST BIKE SO I DID NOT KNOW BETTER, WHEN I TOOK IT IN FOR THE BREAK IN SERVICE I LET THEM KNOW OF THE PROBLEM, THEY TOLD ME THE RPM'S MIGHT JUST BE A LITTLE LOW AND THEY WOULD RAISE IDLE. I WAS RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE ON A PUBLIC STREET. A VEHICLE WAS APPROACHING ME ON A NARROW ROAD, WHEN I DOWNSHIFTED FROM 6TH GEAR TO 5TH GEAR TO SLOW DOWN, MY MOTORCYCLE'S ENGINE STALLED OUT. I PURCHASED THE MOTORCYCLE NEW FROM THE DEALER WITH ONLY 5 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. SINCE I'VE OWNED THE BIKE (PURCHASED ON 07/17/2013) THE ENGINE HAS STALLED WHEN ENGINE BREAKING OR DOWNSHIFTING SEVERAL TIMES NOW, WITH THE MOST RECENT OCCURRENCE'S HAPPENING ON 07/25/2013. *TR
THE BIKE SHUTS OFF AS SOON AS YOU PULL IN THE CLUTCH TO START BRAKING. IT HAS DONE THIS NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW WITH 0 MILES. I HAVE OWNED MY BIKE FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS AND HAVE JUST DONE THE FIRST MAINTANANCE AT KAWASAKI DEALER. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE THE BIKE WAS COLD BUT EVEN AFTER A 10 MINUTE WARM UP THE BIKE WILL SHUT OFF ALMOST AT EVERY STOPLIGHT/STOP SIGN WHEN I PULL IN THE CLUTCH UNLESS I CONSTANTLY REV IT TO A COMPLETE STOP. *TR

AS THE CONTACT TRIED TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A FRACTURED SHOULDER. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I HAVE FOUND THAT DURING APPROXIMATELY THE FIRST 10 MIN YOU ARE RIDING THE BIKE, IF YOU ARE ABOVE 3500 RPM AND PULL IN THE CLUTCH AND COAST FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME THE VEHICLE WILL STALL. I HAVE LEARNED TO WATCH FOR THE STALL BUT IT WILL STILL CATCH YOU OFF GUARD ON OCCASION WHEN YOU LET GO OF THE CLUTCH AND WANT TO GO AND THE BIKE LURCHES AND THROWS OFF YOUR BALANCE. MY FIRST BIKE, I RIDE HER WHEN THERE ISN'T TRAFFIC,3 DAYS/WK FROM MAY-JULY '13. I RODE HER TO WORK MONDAY. AS I WAS CRUISING ALONG I CAME UP TO A STOP SIGN I PULL IN THE CLUTCH TO DOWN SHIFT AND THE RPMS DROPPED TO ZERO, I HELD THE CLUTCH IN AND PUSHED THE STARTER BUTTON THE BIKE STARTED BACK UP. THIS HAS HAPPENED 8 TIMES IN THE PASSED 2 DAYS. *TR

I WAS TRAVELING 40MPH, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DOWN SHIFT, I PULLED MY CLUTCH IN, THE BIKE'S RPM FALLS TO ZERO AND THE ENGINE DIES. THERE WAS NO WAY TO SAVE THE BIKE, BLIPPING THE THROTTLE WITH THE DOWNSHIFT DID NOTHING TO SAVE IT FROM STALLING. THIS HAPPENS EVERYDAY THAT THE BIKE SITS IN THE SUN WHILE I WAS AT WORK. THE BIKE USUALLY DIES AT THE SAME TRAFFIC LIGHT THAT I STOP AT, USUALLY IT DIES 2-3 TIMES DOWN THE ROAD AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS THEN THE STALLING PROBLEM GOES AWAY. NOW, I FEAR FOR MY SAFETY, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I HAPPEN TO UPSHIFT IN THAT CORNER AND THE ENGINE STALL, HAVING CARS BEHIND ME COULD BE A DANGEROUS SITUATION, BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T KNOW WHY I SLOW DOWN SUDDENLY WHILE COMING TO A STOP AFTER A CORNER. I WAS DRIVING MAKING A RIGHT TURN AND THE ENGINE STARTED MAKING A LOUD BANGING NOISE. IT MADE IT 3 TIMES AND THE ENGINE JUST CUT OFF. I ALMOST GOT INTO A ACCIDENT. THE FIRST TIME THIS BIKE STALLED ON ME WAS AROUND 400 MILES. I WARMED THE BIKE UP FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES THEN PULLED OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY. GOT DOWN THE STREET ABOUT 2 BLOCKS AND LET OFF THE THROTTLE TO ALLOW THE ENGINE TO BRAKE ITSELF AND AROUND 15 MPH I CLUTCHED IN AND APPLIED BOTH BRAKES. THEN I NOTICED THE BIKE WAS ROLLING WITHOUT ANY ENGINE POWER SO I LOOKED DOWN AND MY POWER WAS OFF. LUCKILY THIS WAS IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD SO I PULLED OVER AND DIDN'T GET RAN OVER. I HAD NO CLUE WHAT WAS GOING ON THINKING IT WAS JUST A ONE TIME THING AND STARTED THE ENGINE AGAIN AND WENT ON. HOWEVER, JUST A FEW DAYS AGO IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THE BIKE AT THE TIME HAS ABOUT 2800 MILES. THIS TIME WAS WORSE. JUST AS BEFORE I WARMED UP THE BIKE FOR ABOUT 5...
THE ENGINE ON THE MOTORCYCLE STALLED WHEN I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH TO DOWNSHIFT. I WAS IN 6TH GEAR AND GOING AROUND 40 MPH AND NEEDED TO START SLOWING DOWN TO MAKE A TURN UP AHEAD. WHEN I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH TO DOWNSHIFT, THE ENGINE TOTALLY CUT OUT. THE ENGINE STARTED BACK UP AGAIN WHEN I RELEASED THE CLUTCH, SIMILAR TO A ROLL START, BUT I WAS STILL IN 6TH GEAR, SO THE BIKE BARELY GOT GOING AND SHUTTERED QUITE A BIT. I IMMEDIATELY DOWNSHIFTED A COUPLE OF GEARS AND THAT BALANCED IT OUT. I THEN TURNED INTO MY APARTMENT COMPLEX IN 3RD GEAR AND DROVE AROUND TO MY APARTMENT. THE MOTORCYCLE FREQUENTLY STALLS WHEN SLOWING DOWN, SUCH AS TO STOP IN TRAFFIC. THIS ISSUE TYPICALLY ONLY OCCURS AT LOW SPEED (UNDER 20MPH), BUT DOES OCCUR VERY FREQUENTLY, AND SEEMS UNRELATED TO OTHER FACTORS SUCH AS TEMPERATURE OR DURATION OF CONTINUOUS OPERATION. *TR

I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 35MPH DOWNSHIFTING SLOWING DOWN FOR A STOP. WHEN I GOT TO ABOUT 20MPH I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH AND THE ENGINE DIED, I PANICKED A LITTLE BUT WAS ABLE TO GET THE BIKE STOPPED. NOW ON A STRAIGHT ROAD I TRIED TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM AGAIN BY JUST CRUISING ABOUT 35MPH AND LETTING OFF THE THROTTLE AND PULLING IN THE CLUTCH AND THE BIKE DIED ONCE AGAIN. I THEN PROCEEDED TO MY LOCAL DEALER FOR THEM TO LOOK AT THE BIKE AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ANY PROBLEM OR...
THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING WITH THE KAWASAKI NINJA 300 SE IS THE STALLING ISSUE THAT MANY OTHERS HAVE REPORTED. THE ISSUE NEVER HAPPENS IN THE MORNING, IT HAPPENS AFTER I DRIVE THE BIKE THEN IT SITS OUTSIDE. THE TIME BEFORE I RIDE IT AGAIN COULD BE A HALF HOUR, OR 8 HOURS. I START UP THE BIKE AND LET IT WARM UP A COUPLE MINUTES, THEN BEGIN DRIVING. NO PROBLEMS UP TO THIS POINT. I THEN GET NEAR MY FIRST STOP SIGN OR STOP LIGHT AND EASE OFF THE THROTTLE AND PULL THE CLUTCH IN TO DOWN SHIFT. THE SECOND I PULL THE CLUTCH IN, THE RPM'S DROP AND THE BIKE STALLS OUT. THIS HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES IN THE LAST THREE DAYS I HAVE DRIVEN IT. ONE TIME I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION TRYING TO START MY BIKE, THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM AND NEEDS...
AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF COASTING APPROACHING A STOP SIGN I PULLED THE CLUTCH IN AND THE RPM DROPPED CAUSING THE ENGINE TO SHUTOFF. HAD ABOUT HALF A TANK OF GAS PROPERLY MAINTENANCE WITH THE IDLE SET AROUND 1400 RPM. *TR

I WAS APPROACHING A STOP SIGN IN SECOND GEAR. I APPLIED A NORMAL AMOUNT OF BRAKE PRESSURE TO BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES AS I PULLED THE CLUTCH LEVER IN. AS SOON AS THE CLUTCH WAS DISENGAGED AND THE ENGINE RPM'S SLOWED THE BIKE'S ENGINE STALLED. I WAS NOT GOING SLOW ENOUGH FOR THE ENGINE TO BE STALLED BY THE TRANSMISSION, IT WAS STILL AT LEAST 6000 RPM WHEN I APPLIED THE CLUTCH. *TR
TRAVELING AT THE SPEED OF 40 MILES PER HOUR, WAS APPROACHING A STOP LIGHT. DEPRESSED THE CLUTCH LEVER TO DOWNSHIFT, THE ENGINE RPM FELL TO ZERO AND ENGINE DIED. CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP, RESTARTED ENGINE AND RESUMED MY TRAVEL. STOPPED AT MY LOCAL BANK, PULLED OUT OF THE DRIVE OF BANK ON TO HIGHWAY, TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES PER HOUR, DEPRESSED CLUTCH TO SHIFT INTO SECOND GEAR, RPM FELL TO ZERO AND ENGINE DIED, BACKING UP TRAFFIC AND PUTTING ME INTO HARMS WAY. PUSHED BIKE TO SIDE OF ROAD AND RESTARTED. THE SAME SITUATION HAPPENED (4) MORE TIMES ON THIS DATE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST INCIDENT IN WHICH THIS HAS HAPPENED. PRIOR TO THIS EVENT IT HAS OCCURRED NO LESS THAN (6) TIMES BEFORE. THE OCCURRENCE OF THE ENGINE STALLING INCREASE MORE AND MORE. THIS IS BECOMING A REAL SAFETY ISSUE! *TR

WHEN COMING TO A STOP, DOWNSHIFTING, OR JUST COASTING TO MAKE A TURN THE ENGINE WILL STALL AND DIE SPORADICALLY. I HAVE TO START THE MOTORCYCLE AGAIN AND HOPE TRAFFIC DOES NOT HIT ME OR CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. *TR
AFTER WARMING UP THE MOTORCYCLE PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS, I PROCEEDED TO RIDE. UPON COMING UP TO A STOP SIGN, I DECELERATED, PULLED IN THE CLUTCH AND THE ENGINE STALLED. I ATTEMPTED TO START THE ENGINE AND AFTER THREE TRIES GOT IT STARTED. THE NEXT STOP SIGN WAS 50 YARDS FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED (THE BIKE STALLED). THIS PROCESS WAS REPEATED AT ANOTHER STOP SIGN FOR A TOTAL OF THREE TIMES THAT MORNING. TEMPERATURE WAS APPROXIMATELY 77 DEGREES. IN THE AFTERNOON, THE EXACT SAME SEQUENCE WAS REPEATED. TEMPERATURE WAS 88 DEGREES. THIS ENGINE STALLING BEHAVIOR HAS ALSO HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OTHER DAYS. *TR
HELLO, THE KAWASAKI NINJA 300 ABS BIKE STALLS WHEN SLOWING DOWN HOLDING THE CLUTCH, THE ENGINE CUTS OFF AND THE BIKE LOOSES POWER, I ALMOST GOT REAR-ENDED YESTERDAY DUE TO THIS ISSUE. I GOT A BRAND NEW KAWASAKI NINJA 300, BUT HAVE ISSUES WITH IT STALLING. I ALLOW IT TO WARM UP FOR AT LEAST 5-10 MINUTES BEFORE RIDING, AS INSTRUCTED BY KAWASAKI, THIS DOES NOT HELP. EVERY MORNING I COME TO A STOP RIGHT AFTER I START MY RIDE TO WORK, WHEN I PULL IN THE CLUTCH THE ENGINE WILL SHUT OFF. THIS HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY DAY AND PERSISTS UNTIL GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY AND DRIVING A FEW MILES BEFORE IT ACTUALLY WARMS UP. I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEIR TECH RODE IT AND IT HAPPENED TO THEM TOO. I CALLED KAWASAKI AND BASICALLY ALL THEY WERE ABLE TO TELL ME IS THE BIKE NEEDS TO WARM UP TO AN OPTIMAL TEMPERATURE. I DISAGREE AND THINK THERE IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE AND IT NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED. BUT IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT KAWASAKI IS...
THIS MOTORCYCLE HAS A SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS FLAW WITH THE ENGINE SHUTTING OFF WHEN IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO. IT SEEMS THAT WHEN THE CLUTCH LEVER IS PULLED, THE ENGINE WILL STALL. KAWASAKI AND THE DEALERSHIP HAVE BEEN VERY UNHELPFUL AND ARE PUTTING THE OWNERS OF THESE MOTORCYCLES AT RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OWNERS OF THESE BIKES WITH THE SAME ISSUE, APPARENTLY IT IS QUITE WIDESPREAD. THIS ISSUE HAS EXISTED SINCE MY FIRST DRIVE IN THE DEALER PARKING AND STILL CONTINUES. I OWN A BRAND NEW STOCK NINJA 300. ON THE DAY I FIRST EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM, IT WAS PROBABLY ABOUT 80+ DEGREES OUTSIDE. I HAD ALLOW MY BIKE TO WARM UP FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES. TOOK THE BIKE OUT AND WENT DOWN THE BLOCK. I WAS PROBABLY IN 2ND GEAR WHEN I CAME TO AN INTERSECTION WHERE I PREPARED TO STOP. I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH ALL THE WAY AND APPLIED THE BRAKES. UPON PULLING IN THE CLUTCH, THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE IT WAS OFF UNTIL I WENT TO TRY AND PULL OFF AGAIN AND REALIZED MY BIKE WASN'T EVEN RUNNING! THIS HAPPENED 2 MORE TIMES AS I TOOK THE BIKE AROUND THE BLOCK TO PUT IT BACK IN THE GARAGE. THE VERY NEXT DAY, JUST TO MAKE SURE I WASN'T CRAZY I DECIDED TO TEST THE BIKE OUT AGAIN. THIS TIME I LET IT...
I WAS COMING UP TO MY NEIGHBORHOOD GATE AND I PULLED MY CLUTCH IN AND STARTED BRAKING TO STOP SO THE GATE CAN OPEN, THE ENGINE THEN STALLED FOR NO REASON. I WAS IN 1ST GEAR AT THE TIME THIS HAPPENED AND I HAVE MY IDLE SET TO ABOUT 1800 RPMS WHICH IS A LITTLE HIGH SO THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON WHY THIS BIKE STALLED BY PULLING THE CLUTCH IN AND BRAKING.
