The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was previously taken to a local dealer, where unknown recall-related repairs were performed. The vehicle was repaired at the owner's expense; however, the failure progressed. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
