THE ALERT FOR THE TURN SIGNAL STAYS ON WHEN I TURN MY HEADLIGHTS ON. THE TAIL LIGHTS DON'T WORK PROPERLY, AND THE REVERSE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK AT ALL. I HAVE SEEN THIS ON THE SAME MODEL JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO'S ON THE ROAD AT NIGHT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 JEEP LAREDO. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO A SHOULDER LANE WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART. THE FAILURE WAS PERSISTENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SEVERAL COMPONENTS OF THE ENGINE HAD BEEN REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT DID NOT FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 94,946.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE CONTACT SECURED THE VEHICLE IN PARK WHILE EXITING, BUT IT BEGAN TO ROLL AWAY. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RE-ENTER THE VEHICLE AND SECURE THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK, BUT THE VEHICLE KEPT ROLLING. THE CONTACT HAD TO UTILIZE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND GET HELP FROM SOMEONE TO PUSH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 182,378.
