2021 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Engine Problems

On 7/29/2021, approximately 2pm, driving on Front Hall Rd. leading to our home. Reduced speed to between 15/20 MPH in order to slow down and prepare to turn right into our driveway. Suddenly, the engine shutdown. I had no brakes or power steering. The car came to a stop on its own, since nothing was working. The vehicle was restarted and moved to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmissions lines had detached from the transmission cooler and there was fluid leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired. The contact called another local dealer Faulkner Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT (6643 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050, (717) 697-9448) and was informed that they were unable to service the vehicle for approximately two weeks. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 82,060.

Driving Jeep and engine stop, only had steering no brakes fortunately our speed was less than 10 miles per hr and we were in a parking lot. There is only about 770 miles on vehicle and we’ve owned the Jeep 3 weeks. Our concern is what would of happen if we were in heavy traffic, it was rush hour at the time? MY GRAND CHEROKEE HIGH ALTITUDE 2021 START JERKING DURING ACCELERATION AT 500 MILES APROX. THEN THE PROBLEM WAS MORE CONTINUES AND IN PARKING OR NEUTRAL THE CAR START JERKING, VIBRATION ENGINE AND EXHAUST SMELL WEAR. CHECK ENGINE FLASING. CODE P0304 WAS REGISTERED.
