These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2015 Eagle 30.5 BHLT fifth wheel trailers manufactured March 13, 2014, to August 1, 2014. The affected trailers have incorrect tire size information on the tire label. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor...

Consequence: If the trailer tires are replaced with the ones listed incorrectly on the label, the trailer may be overloaded, resulting in poor handling or tire failure. Either of these conditions may increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, send them new labels with the corrected information, free of charge. The recall began February 2, 2015. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901227.

Defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2015 Eagle HT FW 28.5RSTS "PR" trailers manufactured June 2, 2014, to October 28, 2014. Incorrect tire size information may be found on the tire label. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims for Passenger Cars."

Consequence: Replacing a tire based on an incorrect tire size could overload the trailer causing poor handling and increasing the risk of a crash.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2018 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 HAULING A 2015 JAYCO EAGLE. WHILE AT A CAMPING SITE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE WATER TANK HAD NO WATER. AFTER LOOKING UNDER THE RV, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE WATER TANK BOLTS WERE MISSING AND THE TANK WAS HANGING. THERE WAS NO WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STRAPPED THE TANK ONTO THE RV AND DRAINED THE WATER OUT. THE CONTACT NOTICED A LEAK COMING FROM THE RV AND TOOK IT TO CAMPING WORLD (1861 STATE HIGHWAY 5S, AMSTERDAM, NY 12010, 518-843-0434). THE RV WAS CURRENTLY BEING DIAGNOSED. THE RV WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER: 1TE0087. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT TO CALL NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THERE WAS NO MILEAGE.
