Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2020 CV vehicles. The brake pressure switch harness may not have protective material on the wires, causing a short circuit and reducing brake performance.
Consequence: Reduced brake performance can extend stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will remove, add protective material, and reinstall the brake pressure switch harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 1, 2025. Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2025 CV vehicles. The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause a short circuit.
Consequence: An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.

Defect: Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2017-2023 International CV trucks. The brake pressure switch assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch's electrical components and cause an electrical short-circuit.

Defect: Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. (Maintainer) is recalling certain modified 2019-2020 International CV 515 and Chevrolet Silverado tow vehicles equipped with Allison 2700 series transmissions with Chelsea Power Take Offs (PTO). The PTOs were installed incorrectly and as a result, the attachment hardware may loosen over time.
Consequence: If the PTO attachment hardware loosens it could cause a loss of transmission fluid which may result in the rear wheel locking up, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Maintainer will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the PTO and install a new attachment stud kit, free of charge. The recall began June 9, 2020. Owners may contact Maintainer customer service at 1-800-831-8588.

Defect: Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2019 International CV vehicles equipped with Duramax 6.6 liter diesel engines and an optional engine-block heater (feature code 12XBL). The engine block heater cord or the terminals that connect the heater cord to the block heater may short circuit and fail.
Consequence: A short-circuit may damage the engine components and increase the risk of fire.
Remedy: Navistar will notify owners and dealers will replace the engine block heater, free of charge. Navistar issued owners an interim notification on May 31, 2019. A second letter will be mailed when the remedy becomes available. The recall began November...

The contact owns a 2019 International CV515. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front end of the truck was bouncing excessively. The contact stated that there was a failure with the front end that was causing damage to the front tires. The contact stated that the front tires appeared worn and patchy with only 17,000 miles of driving. The vehicle was taken to Firestone Tires and was diagnosed with a failed suspension. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was also taken to the dealer and the contact was advised that the tires needed to be replaced. The tires were replaced. The contact stated that the tire size information printed on the door of the vehicle was 245/70/R19.5 however, the actual tire size that was installed on the truck was 225/70/R19.5. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.
