The contact owns a 2014 Infiniti QX60. The contact stated while driving at approximately 60 MPH, the front passenger’s side wheel detached from the axle and was lodged inside the wheel well. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to a parking lot and then had the vehicle towed to a dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the rear coupler and the front passenger side tire needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that while driving off the dealer lot the vehicle was hesitating and jerking into gear and was bouncing. The contact stopped and turned the vehicle off and observed smoke coming from under the hood. The contact was informed by the dealer that the engine needed to be replaced.
