The contact owned a 2022 Infinity QX55. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle in the garage, the contact noticed white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipes. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH, the white smoke increased significantly. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact returned to the residence. The contact stated that while driving to the dealer, the vehicle stalled and was able to restart after several attempts. An unknown red warning light was illuminated. The contact did not feel safe driving the vehicle, and the vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed that the engine had failed, and there was sludge found in the oil. The dealer informed the contact that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the dealer declined to perform the recall repair.
